
Roger R. Gardner, the Principal of RGConsultants, has 30 years of experience in real estate development, resort design, transportation systems, and aerial cableway technology. Mr Gardner has a real estate brokers' license in Nevada, and has designed and managed development projects in Lake Tahoe, Utah, Colorado, N Carolina, Florida, Alaska, Mexico, Korea and Japan for companies such as SBW Development, Coldwell Banker and Intrawest Development. Most recently, Mr Gardner was Senior Development Manager, based in Orlando, FL, for Intrawest Placemaking. On the transportation and cableway side, Mr. Gardner has worked in management positions for some of the major people mover and cableway engineering and manufacturing companies, and was President of Leitner USA, Inc., whose parent company has installed over 8,000 aerial cableway and people mover systems worldwide. Mr. Gardner has been directly involved with the sales, planning and installation of over 100 aerial cableway systems in the U.S., Canada, Alaska and the Pacific Rim. He has a broad range of experience in the development of resort and urban automated people movers and the design, development and operation of resort amenities and tourist attractions. He is a Board member of Mountain Chief, Inc. in Salt Lake City, has participated on the NSAA Sustainable Slopes Environmental Committee, and was a contributing technical writer to Ski Area Management Magazine.
D. Mark Doman P.E., the Engineering Director of RGConsultants, has 30 years of experience in the automotive design, amusement park ride design, people mover and aerial cableway industries. Mr. Doman also serves as the the Chief Tramway Inspector for the State of Michigan and is a registered aerial tramway engineer in multiple States. Previously he was Engineering Director of Leitner USA, with responsibility for the design and certification of all Leitner tramway projects in the U.S. Mr. Doman previously worked with Ford Motor Company in R & D and Arrow Dynamics in mechanical engineering and project management. He is a participant on the NSAA (ANSI) B77, Standards for Passenger Tramways Committee.
Andrea Maocchi, Senior Engineer, has over 40 years of experience in design engineering and project management for people movers and aerial cableways. He has held engineering positions with several European ski resorts, Carlevaro Lifts, Leitner Lifts, Garaventa, and York. Mr. Marocchi is an aerial tramway engineer in Vermont, Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland. He is an acknowledged expert in the design and implementation of large aerial tramways and funicular people mover systems for urban and resort applications.
Bob Paul, Electrical Engineer, has over 20 years of experience in the design and installation of high voltage electrical systems and low voltage electronic control systems for aerial cableways. Mr. Paul is an electrical engineer and licensed electrical contractor, and has designed, installed and commissioned numerous electrical installations for chairlifts, gondolas and trams in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Paul is also the owner of RPE Services, Inc. and has been employed by and designed electrical control systems for many of the lift manufacturers, including Leitner, Poma, Doppelmayr, Riblet, Hall and Ctec.
